New baby and toddler rejecting me

I know it's fairly normal, I know she'll get past it, I know I just need to keep being here, but the truth is it's really upsetting me that my DD is obviously furious with me since the new baby was born a week ago. She's absolutely fine with him but seems to have rejected me.

If the baby isn't around anywhere she sort of accepts me, but it's iffy, and most of the time she greets any attempt at a hug or play with shouting 'no' at me and running to her dad or my mum, who's helping us out for a week.

Can anyone reassure me with how long this might last? Any stories of how you got through it? Just feeling very weepy about it right now.

Congratulations on your new LO Thanks

We had this with our DS who was 3 at the time but instead of me, it was DH who he seemed angry with. From what I remember it lasted aroubd 2 weeks, so you’re nearly there Smile
