Baby chomping on my arm is driving my boobs mad

I'm wondering if DD is teething. She's 4 months and has been more dribbly than usual. She's also been chomping on her fists and sucking her thumb more. She chomps so much that it makes a wet sucky sound. Today she's started putting her wide open mouth around the top of my arm and is wet chomping and licking the top of my arm. Has anyone seen this before? She got quite annoyed when I put a jumper on.

The sound of her chomping and sucking on my arm is driving my boobs mad. I absolutely don't mind her doing it but I stopped expressing 9 weeks ago and with her chomping my boob was itching and leaked a bit of clear, milk streaked liquid. I thought it would have gone by now.

It can take a while longer for your milk to completely go, so don’t worry about that Smile

Have you tried her with a teething ring or a clean, cool wet flannel to chomp on? It might take the pressure off your arm, and boob Smile

I've ordered a teether that's quite chunky and looks a bit easier for her to hold so hopefully that will help. The chomping on my arm also seems to be for comfort as she's started doing it while relaxing ready for sleep. The behaviour seems to have come from no where but as she's full of cold to at the moment I'm minded to let her do whatever she needs to. I might feel differently when she has teeth!
