My son age six has an extreme obsession with toilets

My lovely boy 5 and a half has an obsession with the toilet. Not a run of the mill always going to the loo type. It started when he was two and it has just carried on and on. He talks about toilets even to stragers, he plays games about toilets, he turns many different things into toilets. I know lots of children have a toilet fixation but his is really extreme and it can be disruptive. He is such a sensitive soul and he is loving and though not a quick learner he is improving at school. I am just worried about him. He does seem to fixate and play the same things over and over but he has a really good imagination and he does play really well. I've worried about it for a really long time to be honest and I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had experienced this or had any ideas. Thank you

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm a teacher and I used to have kids who would get weird obsessions too lol like I had a child who was obsessed with pluming. Yes pluming, he wanted to be a plumber and that's all he would talk about. I had another one who was obsessed with monkeys and would act like a monkey all day. I thought it was hilarious. It's quite common.
