did your Lo's stop using the bed guard or rather when did you take it off?
DD is 4 and has a lovely pink bed guard, but we are getting her a new bed and the wooden one we want wont fit the guard.
we have tried to take the guard off about 8 months ago, but every night we found her on the floor several times as she kind of snuggles into it.
what can i do?, as new bed is quite high opposed to current one, so if we just leave it off it quite a drop to the floor!

My daughters 14 months and has been in a single bed now for 2 months, as we needed her cot for her new brother. We are using a bed gaurd as she is so young but my dad still nags at me to put a spare mattress on the floor for her in case she falls out, which baffles me to now how shes going to fall through the bed guard lol
