Does our 10 year old have a problem with ADHD or similar?

Hi, My stepson is almost 11 (next month). I have been saying to my other half for the last couple of years I think his son has a 'disorder'. I have asked my partner to have him checked out but worry am I just being critical of a 10 year olds behaviour.
Here are regular things he does that I find odd.

  1. Forgets simple instructions like put your shoes on, brush your teeth.
  2. Forgets to wipe after using the toilet and then doesn't alway's flush.
3.Talks to himself
  1. Seems distant almost trance like
  2. Interrupts then doesn't have anything to say.
  3. Doesnt understand peoples personal space, always having to tell him to move away. If sat on the sofa he will be virtually on top of you.
  4. Really clumpsy, can't walk in a straight line, crossing in front of you.
  5. Has a fixation with food, forgets he has had breakfast and will ask for it 20 minutes after eating. Eats for the sake of eating and has portion sizes bigger than most adult males.
  6. Paces all the time if ask him to wait
10. Has to be the loudest person in the room, centre of attention.

He is a really lovely bright kid, memory academically is great. Does well at drama and very kid and happy boy but is always in a daydream. My son's son is also 10 nearly 11 and the difference in maturity is vast. My stepson is happier playing with a 2 year old than a 10 year old.

Any advice please as I wonder if I am overthinking this or are these traits that we need help with?

It does sound as if it could be ADHD but then I’m not trained, just some random on the Internet. Does your DH have full custody?

No shared care 50/50.
