How can I make puberty seem less shit for a girl? It seems like for boys things only get better but for girls periods are no fun and then there's boobs which just get in the way and are a great big arrow to say that the girl is developing. Please help me sell it to her!!

Boys have indicators that they are developing too though? My DS has got massively hairy Smile

I don’t think I’m going to be of much use to you though. Yes periods or shit but my breasts never got big enough to get in the way and I don’t see puberty as a huge negative, just another stage in life Smile

Have you bought her any book OP? How old is she?

Yes I guess so , so it's the way I sell it! My Son thinks it's all hilarious and seems quite comfortable with changes. My daughter is younger but going through it all early so wanted to try to help ease things but she doesn't really want to know . I have bought books which my son thought was fantastic and relished in the detail. My daughter however refused to read alone or with me and left on the book shelf! X
