LO not gaining weight - Pot belly and loss of appetite

So worried about my LO. He's 20 months, looking back this all started a few months ago, which ties in with starting nursery. He dropped weight to 8.6kg after catching "a tummy bug" now back up to 9kg but he's just not himself. Very lethargic, not a huge appetite, wanting to sleep a lot, his limbs are very skinny and he has a very obvious pot belly. Lots of family and friends pointing out the weight loss and that he's just not himself!

After 2 months of being fobbed off from HV and GPs, given reasons as teething to just a bug at nursery, thankfully saw a different GP last week who told me he is underweight, should have been referred to paediatrician ages ago and sent for blood tests and x-ray on his tummy. He also has had diarrhoea since starting nursery. Just so worried he looks so ill and it's like he's lost all his little personality. So worried about him.

Has anyone had any similar experiences with their LO's? Should be getting results tomorrow. GP has mentioned Celiac as possible diagnosis x

I’ve not had similar experience and I don’t want to be an unqualified internet doctor but I have CMPA and the symptoms can include a pot belly and diarrhoea. Milk allergies can often follow a bout of D&V too.

Do you know when you’ll get the test results?
