Sick to death of the bickering, fighting, screaming and arguing.

Sick to death of it.
It's constant.
We are away for a week, got a few days left but I can't take it any longer so we are packing up and going tomorrow.
I've just walked out and left them for half an hour because I'm feeling very very angry with them & need to be away from them.
They are 5 & 15.
Play fights turn into screaming matches. They antagonise each other day & night. I separate them but as soon as we are in the same room it starts again.

Wisdom is what I need. Wise & comforting words, strategy to manage and cope with it.
Dh isn't here tonight so I've been on my own with them. I can't deal with it.

Didn't want to read and run but just think in a few years the eldest will be 18 and probably leave home, no more fighting! You shouldn't wish your life away however! :-)

I know, but so many potentially great times are just ruined because of it.
We both work really hard, we do loads of child focused stuff but it's all ruined.
We have had numerous conversations with them both separately and together.
For nothing.

Can you do things separately with them one on one? Not many 15 year olds would want to hang out with a 5 year old and vise versa! Sorry I know that's not much help!

Hi, a book called ‘Calm Parents, Happy Siblings’ changed my two DS’ relationship. Would really recommend; it sounds v difficult what you’re going through! Well done for asking for help though. Xx
