Potty Training - toddler refuses to use potty for number 2

I'm hoping one of you can help work out how to solve this. Please don't read this if you've got delicate sensibilities 😊.

When she wore nappies, my toddler (turns 3 next month) would only poop standing up in private ((she goes off in a corner).

Now, we are potty training. When she wants to pee, she'll use the potty fine. We've had very few accidents thankfully. Pooping on the other hand - no. Even if you let her go around without a pant. I don't want to stress her about this. I'm trying to come up with a way to tell her she needs to squat or sit. Please help.

How is she verbally OP? If you can get her to tell you when she needs a poo you could put a nappy on her for the poo on the condition that she sits on the potty to do it. When she’s got the hang of that, put the nappy on a little slacker for the next few days and carry on until you are just laying the nappy in the potty and not putting it on her. It takes a while but usually works Smile
