6 year old doesn't want to go to school

My 6 year old has always been a happy girl and loved it at nursery and loved it even more in reception.

Now in year 1, she started biting the skin on her fingers and saying she doesn't want to go to school. We have had conversations with her to try and find out why she doesnt want to go. She loves her friends and teachers, she doesn't like school dinners so now we give her packed lunch and she said she loves learning. The only thing she said she didn't like was sitting on the floor in the classroom as her legs starts hurting after a while.

Towards the end of the last term, she would cry in the way to school. Easter holiday was fine and she also stopped biting her fingers. Today she is back at school and calls me after school while I'm a work crying because she wants me.

She is very attached to me.

Any ideas how I can help? Anyone had similar experience?

I have spoken to school who is going to work with her and try and find out what's wrong as they say she's fine once she's in school
