10 month old poos once every few days

DS will only poo once every few days. The poo itself appears normal (not too hard, not too soft, not discoloured). Is this normal? He's been like this for a few months now and doesn't seem in discomfort. He doesn't eat much solid food either, he'll pick a bit and then ask to get down... Thanks!

My DD did this from the day she was born. Sometimes went up to 5 days without going. She also had 'perfectly normal' poo and no apparent pain. She's 10 now, eats reasonably normally but has never been an everyday girl! Roughly every other day now.

My nearly 7 month old does this occasionally, sometimes she’s every day then maybe once every couple of weeks randomly she’ll go 3 days without pooing, I once spoke to the health visitor about it when she was younger and I was told that as long as it looks normal when it does happen this it’s fine! It’s more of a quality over quantity issue with poo!
