16 week old suddenly become fussy?

Hi I’m a first time mum so forgive me if I’m being really silly! My son is almost 4 months old and has suddenly become very fussy/ teary. He’s always been a fairly relaxed /happy baby. I’ve notices over the past couple of weeks when getting him dressed he gets himself into such state (I’ve tried all distractions) he’s fine it’s nappy changes , getting undressed etc. He’s also previously been fine with noises , looks to where the noise is coming from and carries on playing. Now the slightest noise causes him to get hysterical. Also it seems I can do no right , even if I’m feeding him he ends up crying. Is this normal for this age or is is something I should be concerned about? Sorry for the long post! Thank you. X

It could be normal or he could be a but under the weather. Has he got a temperature? Could he be teething?

Thanks for your reply pop music. I did think about teething the other week actually as his cheeks were red/ eating his hand a lot but that turned out to be ezcema. I’m wondering if he may be though! It just seems strange , even his favourite rattle toys are making him jump and cry Sad

If he’s got eczema, does he have CMPA? I’ve got it and it definitely affects my mood when I’m having a reaction.
