Any experience of Desmopressin for bedwetting?

I’ve just picked up the prescription for my eight-year-old son. I’m hoping he will be dry for a scout camp in a few weeks... Has anybody used it? What was your experience?

I used it as a child, it seemed to work for a while but I had complications with retaining water (swollen feet) and had to stop using it.

Did you take one tablet or two? How long did it take to work? We are on day 4 and no joy!

One at first but like your DS it was useless, I was then put on spray which was snorted, which worked right away.
