New skills being practiced in baby's sleep?!

I've read that when a baby learns a new skill it can disrupt their sleep. My wonder Weeks app says when baby is going through a leap they get all out of sorts.
My LO has recently learnt to crawl and stop and sit up from crawling or laying down, and the odd few nights we've heard him on the monitor and gone up and found him say up in his cot but still kind of asleep and then we lay him back down and he's asleep again 😂🙈 It's funny as he's obviously coming out of a sleep cycle and has sitting up on his mind and is just practising in his sleep!
Anyone else find their babies doing new skills in their sleep?
