Started weaning my 6 month old about 3 weeks ago. Had been ebf up until then. Was going really well until about 2 days ago and she's just stopped taking the solids. She's also refuse the formula today which she happily took yesterday and the day before. Is this normal? What can I do?

Anyone? She’s now waking every 20 minutes and won’t settle without feeding. Am sooo tired.

I’d say it’s normal for interest in solids to come and go a bit early on, they can go off the idea for lots of reasons (teething, colds, developmental leaps) but going off milk sounds more concerning - any signs of being not well or teething? Are you still breastfeeding or have you switched entirely to formula?

This sounds normal to me. Is she still breastfeeding as usual? You’ll probably find she’s coming down with a cold or getting a tooth or similar.

Thanks both. She's eaten a bit better today and I think I may have felt a tooth. Don't know how to get her to settle without feeding though - praying tonight isn't like last night and she doesn't do the wake every 20 minutes again.
