Please could I have some advice on dealing with a child that gets into rages

I am trying to positively parent my 3yo DD however she will do things that put herself in danger such as run off from me, try and run into the road, push over her little sister when I am not looking or bouncing on the sofas when I leave the room. Nursery have commented on how she is 'strong willed' but I just don't know how to handle these situations with her without getting very cross and shouting at her which isn't good for anyone.

I've tried every piece of advice from positive parenting and discipline. The only thing that worked for my ds was, for turn of a better phrase, threatening, ie, to put reigns on if he ran away, to take the toy if he threw it, or to take his favourite toy if he hit. Most importantly you have to be consistent and follow through. None of the positive discipline advice I got worked, he easily manipulated the situation. Xc

DD doesnt seem to care about her possessions or reward charts, starting to think I am ruining her as all that happens is that i get very cross.

Even nursery are struggling.
