Not yet dry at night- leave it for now?

DD is 3.5. Toilet trained since 2.5. She was very much ready for it, minimal accidents, etc. She's in pull-ups at night and over the past 6-8 months we've done trials of nappy-free at night time maybe twice.

Tried it again tonight and I've just popped in to check her and she's wet. She didn't wake. She's a deep sleeper anyway. I presume we should just leave it for another few months again? I'd like her to just be ready for it in her own time rather than having to "lift" her or that. Sound reasonable? Do they just get there on their own at some point?

Thanks!

It's a hormonal thing they get it in their own time. I'd recommend you start now by cutting down drinks in the evening and taking her the toilet right before bed and straight away in the morning if your not doing it already. I know some people who lift their sleeping dc to the toilet in the middle of the night for a wee this never worked for me it just woke them up.

With my eldest ds he just told me 1 day he didn't want to wear a pull up at night anymore and that was that he was more or less dry from there he was just under 4

Thanks uhoh. I'll work on the evening drinks and toilet timings around bed and leave it at that for now.
