Having major issues at moment getting middle child to go to nursery. Some mornings hes ok but most hes screaming and crying he doesnt want to go before leaving the house. A couple of times this week hes been screaming and crying all the way there but quietens down when husband takes him in. Hes a little clingy at actual drop off but once husbands left apparently hes happy enough and when I pick him up some days he doesnt want to leave :-?
He currently only goes 4 mornings a week. I stay at home after being made redundant a couple of years ago and look after youngest who will be a year next week, I am actively looking for work at moment and have a couple of leads for potential jobs which if I get anywhere with them would mean full time nursery for him.
DD is off for school holidays at moment so not sure if this is making it worse. DH will be off work next week so DS wont be going in but am dreading week after.
We have tried talking to him about why hes unhappy but he cant seem to tell us anything specific. In a morning hes just saying he wants to stay with me.
Any suggestions?
