Help hideous 10.5 year old ds end of my teather!!!!

Hey everyone
As the title says my 10 year old ds has turned into a complete monster. She is rude, attention seeking and downright awful on a daily basis. I know some of this will be hormone related but she definitely aims her anger at me. Anyone got any advice or tips to help me manage the puberty years before I lose the plot?

Watch her diet is the best advice I have. I found my DD was ten times worse if she ate any processed foods/refined sugars.

I made her diet extremely healthy with only home cooked, whole foods....fruit for snacks or raw veg.

I did make muffins on a Friday or get some organic chocolate though.

Yes...almost immediately! I'd noticed when DD was a baby that she seemed to react to things like red jelly...she'd had some when she was one, MIL gave her a little bit at a party and all afternoon she was so grumpy.

When she got hormonal at about 11, it seemed that it was definitely made worse by sweets with colouring or by processed cakes etc.

I did explain it all to her...and we do have treat foods sometimes...chips from the chippy, chocolate, homemade cakes...she's wise to it herself and knows she's badly affected by crap food so tends to avoid it when she's out and about. (not always though..she's only human!)
