How do I deal with kids calling my daughter silly names?

It's nothing major she's 4 and got upset because they said her surname was poo poo 🙄 I just told her they were being silly and to ignore it but just got me thinking what do you say to kids when others are calling them names? Just to ignore it?

Unless it were really nasty or persistent I'd say exactly what you did.
