My 1 year old won't eat warm food

Hopefully someone can offer some advice. Since my sons bottom teeth come through he will not eat warm food . I have given him finger food like toast and he will have that but not a warm dinner. He used to eat really well and now I just can't seem to get him to want anything other than fruit , puddings or toast

My son has just turned 1 as well

Any advice would be really appreciated
Thanks
Kelly

So will he eat warm food if it's left to go cold? How long has it been going on?

it's been going on for about a month. Every since the teeth broke the gum and unfortunately he had a throaty infection at the same time.

If I give him toast or a boiled egg it's always cool so he will eat that . I tried him on spaghetti bolognese and he just turned away. I've tried making it fun , praising him and eating some myself but he just won't eat the warm dinner . It's puzzling me

So I reckon it could be that he had a sore gum and the heat of food 'scared' him off warm food. You could try with it slab cold and gradually get it warmer? My ds won't eat food if it's at all hot. I'm pretty sure it's my fault because I was so scared of burning him when he was weaning! I just spend half of my life blowing on already pretty cool food. In the scheme of things that's not so bad.

The other thing it could be is the onset of Toddler Fussiness. Both of mine ate very well from 6 months to 12-18 months and then all of a sudden previously loved food was rejected, turned up noses at everything. Dd it was nearer 12 months than 18 months, ds it was later. It has happened to almost all of my friends.
