We have scaffolding all around the house and the boys are climbing out of the second floor window and

using it as a climbing frame -

am I being a crap parent by allowing them to do it?
or a good parent to let them have fun?

Too true, best game EVER one minute, totally disinterested the next. Seems that you always used to find the best game ever two minutes before your mum arrived to pick you up having spent the previous 5 hours loafing around claiming to be bored.
