Is in 2 wks for possible dyspraxia.

cos he cant hold a pencil in the correct way and got shaky handwriting. He's using a pencil gripper at school and.at home. Also, he easily get sidetracked in his class (not at home) but he knows what the teacher had.said.to him.. So he does two things at once.

He's my third child.

Will the therapist tell me answers there and then? Or.will have to wait?

Thanks

In my area they don't diagnose dyspraxia before 5.5 - 6 years. So when my DS saw the occupational therapist at 4 she watched him while he was drawing/playing/moving around the room etc and asked me questions about his development. He then had a second appointment when he was 5.75 when she did a standardised test for dyspraxia with the results given there and then.
The first appointment was pretty helpful: she noticed things that I hadn't and gave some practical suggestions on how to help.
