Has he ever made it in time?

DD (now 4) still needs regular reminding - she can be doing the wee dance, but still not take herself without prompting.

Toddlers get distracted and are not quite old enough to know that the feeling of needing a wee has a time limit.

I would just prompt every now and then. They soon grasp it.

Don't wait for him give him a routine. On waking. After breakfast. Before going out. Every hour or so until he gets the hang of it then very gradually increase time between attempts.

He said he needed to go today and did a wee but I think I am worrying to much as he will be in reception class next week
