Green poo after hand foot and mouth?

So my eight month old has had a mild version of hand foot and mouth, seems totally fine now and happy, very active, normal appetite. However he's been doing quite a lots of dark green poos the past two days, quite frequently. Has anyone experienced this / is it the illness coming out? Just moved to new area so need to register with a GP tomorrow before I can make an appointment, but should I be worried? Any help would be really appreciated

Not to scare you but Thr only experience of anything green was when my son ( about the same age ) who vomited green . I eventually found out he had a twisted bowel which was very serious requiring fast surgery . My doctor said it was nothing but I new it just wasn't right so I took him to a and e who blue lighted us to London . Go with your gut instinct here x

God how scary for you, sorry to hear that. Seem s to have eased off here but I'll keep an eye on it x
