Dora the Fecking Explorer- a support thread

Following on from the Thomas the Tank thread, are there any desperate mothers out there sick to the back teeth of Dora the Explorer?

My DD {2} is OBSESSED. You name it, we've got it in Dora.

She will watch it all day every day if I'd let her.

And when I want her to do something, that she doesn't want to do, she puts her hand out and shouts at me "SWIPER NO SWIPER"

Please, share my pain,

Boris

My DC love dora too. Ds loves Tico and Dd loves Dora the best. The other day dd did something for dh and he said 'thank you dd', she said 'De nada (sp?!)' so at least she's learning something Gives me peace while they are watching it so I don't mind.

De Nada means you're welcome I think.

According to the grapevine they are doing the Live tour again this year so I'll be getting front row seats for that.

Great.

I took DD to see the live tour in September and it was fantastic - she cried for about 2 hours afterwards right enough because it was finished - had to tell her that Dora had to go home because she had school in the morning!! Wee soul was devastated - she still talks about it today. how she lvoed those Pirate Piggies.
