6 month old with bronchiolitis awake for 3 hours during the night

My 6 month old has viral bronchiolitis and for the past 3 nights she has been crying and refuses to be settled for 3 hours during the night. We are absolutely exhausted and don't know what to do! We've been to the doctors and they said to just wait for the condition to pass and make sure she gets lots of fluids.

Are you still using a bouncy chair for them? DD had to sleep in hers whenever she got ill as it was the only way she didn't choke and scream. I know it isn't advised but it was the only way we got any sleep. We did end up with week long hospital stays twice and she's now been diagnosed with asthma so that won't have helped.
