Advice needed on 2 year old taking nappy off at night and wetting the bed

Does anyone one have any advice??? My daughter is 2 we have tried and tried potty training but she isn't interested at all but everytime we go in to her after a nap or to get her up in the morning she has stripped all her clothes off including the vests with poppers on and nappy and has a wet bed me and my partner are at wits end with it

If I put my 2yr old to bed without a growbag he would DEFINITELY take off every item of clothing - it seems to be his latest craze. Showing their independence or something.

I'd keep her in a growbag, even just a thin one, until she gets bored of this particular game.

Have you tried a pull up - maybe the novelty of wearing big girl nappy might make her keep it on? My 2 year old would do the same but we have her in her sleeping bag - have a 1 tog for when it is hot.

Try a washable nappy with a popper fastening for night time. The poppers are really tough for them to undo themselves.

Does she have milk just before bed? Could you stop drinks an hour before bedtime, make sure she has a wee just before bed and let her go to bed without a nappy with a waterproof mattress protector?
If not, and you think she's doing it for attention, try not to give her any attention (communication/eye contact) when she does wet the bed. Just get her dressed.

my friend's dd did this, she put the nappy on and then put a strip of packing tape round the nappy to hold it on!

It worked.

We put a pull up on ours as she was doing the same and we call them "nighttime pants" and don't use them during the day so no confusion.

I found the solution was a washable nappy that used a nappi nippa with a plastic cover over the top. Its been a long time since I had a child in nappies, but we used to use Tots bots or motherese nappies with a motherease wrap.

If you live in Hertfordshire I could give you a whole load as the second market for reusable nappies is non existant.

reallytired I'm on the lookout for reusable nappies - I'm happy to pay postage etc as I'm nowhere near you!

Id second the gaffer tape, duct tape, call it what you will. What about putting one of those pad things on the bed to soak up any urine, I found some washable ones.

Honestly, been there & a strip of that all around the waist solved the problem
