20 month old still puts everything in his mouth

As the title reads my 20 month old ds still puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. Going to play groups is getting hard because every single toy he picks up goes straight in his mouth and covered in saliva. He has all his teeth and they are fine. He also dribbles a lot too still. If anyone else has had this problem I'd love to know how I can help him reduce the amount of things he puts in there!

Mine's 8 and still puts plastic toys in his mouth Confused

Aren't toys supposed to be non chokey until 3 years? This would suggest your son is normal.

Yes he has nothing he can choke on so I'm not worried about that... No other children his age seem to do it half as much as he does and everyone keeps commenting on how unusual it is that he just tries to chew on everything Confused

Mine is 28 months and will put stones and dirtin his mouth. He will pick up every little spec of something if the floor and eat it if we let him.
