All these effing laminate floors.... How are babies meant to learn to pull up/walk?!

DD2 is having a nightmare and therefore so am I! The house we rent has laminate floor in the front room and is the wrong shape for a rug (plus the rugs we have just slide from under her!) She is wanting to start cruising but just slips and is getting really frustrated! Any tips??

definitely gap socks or any other ones with the rubbery bits on, and daisy roots/inch blue/robeez shoes. We have marble tiles here (spain) which is a nightmare for little walkers, but ds was fine with rubber socks and these shoes.

Agree Gap socks are great. Also, could you anchor a small rug under the coffee table? Ds1 loved to cruise round and round ours.
