What can your two year old do which surprises or impresses you?

My 2.4 can make his own toast and nearly spread the butter to the edges. He knows a lot of nursery rhymes and can sing me to sleep (doesn't take much). He is also a bossy little boy and has no issue in telling DH to "sit THERE Daddy", whilst rolling his eyes.

  • Go from absolute zen to screaming purple rage in 0.1 of a millisecond.
  • Go completely rigid, like planking, when I try to get her anywhere near the pram
  • Cause her sister (who is 2.5 years older than her) serious harm if left to 'settle their own disagreement'
  • Give the most gorgeous butterfly kisses accompanied by the sweetest: 'sorry Mama, there, all better!' after she's caused acute pain by standing on you, running you over with her pram etc
  • Receite the whole of Let It Go. Start to finish. Loudly. Many times a day.

He can kick a ball like a premiership footballer, throw like a cricketer and punch like Bruce Lee. Seriously, he has a devastating one inch punch!! He has the makings of a fantastic sportsman, if only he could control his temper

Discovered he can stop his own tantrums by letting him switch the light off. He was shrieking and flinging himself about, then for some reason, climbed on my knee and turned off the light. He had s hood giggle about that and the tantrum was forgotten Confused
