My 4 year old is peeing and pooing in her bedroom

I am nearly at my wits end with my four and a half year old just now. She has been potty trained for nearly two years now and had been getting on really well, and we'd had no incidents until the last few months.
Recently she has started going to the toilet in her bedroom - where she has to walk past the bathroom. Sometimes she just wets herself, and other times she takes her clothes of to do it and then gets herself dressed again.
I just don't know what to do, have tried asking her why she is doing it and she knows its wrong but can't tell me why she does it.

Maybe the first thing to consider when a child's behaviour changes, is - has anything else changed that might have triggered it? Such as a new sibling, changes at home or at school? Having the bathroom redecorated, or new furniture?

All sorts of things that are trivial to adults, can have strange and unexpected result in children.

can you leave a couple of potties in her bedroom-1 for pee and 1 for poo?

You mean wet herself or doing it on the floor? Do you think she is enjoying it and being naughty or is it accidental? I'd certainly put a potty in her room and keep am eye on her - try to talk to her gently about why it's important to use the toilet, see if she has a reason for her changed behaviour.

Yeah it's just in her bedrooom. She has no accidents at school, anyone else's house or anywhere else in the house. Just really not sure what to do?!

How strange. Is it possible she's been spooked by the loos at school or nursery? No harm in putting a potty down, and maybe a matching one in the bathroom if she'll use it.

My dd went thru a phase of this at 3.3yrs. Had been potty trained for ages and dry at night for yr or so. She would wake up and get out of bed and wee on floor or get up from bed but wee on the bed took her to docs to test for uti etc but all fine. The toilet is 2 steps from her room and we installed a low hanging light for get but no luck. We resorted to using a monitor again so she could call us if woke and needed a wee. Again no luck. She would call and say just wet the floor mum.
We got really frustrated but tbh it passed within a month. Just stopped happening. The more fuss we made the worse it was that night. If we said nothing it got better
