how to talk to your child about sex

Hi there
Just looking for resources because my 5 yr dd has quite an interest in touching herself - the problem is trying to explain to her that this should be a private thing while also natural etc. Somehow my words are not working and she does it around us all the time despite constant discouragement.
Any recommendations for approaches / books?

DD (3.4) likes a bit of a fiddle when she's listening to a story. We just tell her that's for in her own room and gently remove the hand, then direct her attention to the story
