Please help! At the end of my rope after 4 hours of incessant crying and potentially another night of no sleep due to constant screaming. Those who had DCs with colic how long did it last and did anything make it better?

Google purple crying. By all means if the comic 'remedies' help you then use them - but there's not really a lot of evidence they help. Most mammals go through this so its not a problem with you or your baby.

Doesn't make it any less horrible when you're going through it though

Pour yourself a glass of wine and find someone to give you a break for a bit

Thanks rubber but I've found out it's actually caused by too much milk supply and things that have helped are feeding 'uphill', staying on one breast for longer and colief (actually very good if you have oversupply as it break down the lactose in the gut)

Hi ladypug, mine was the same turned out that she had an intolerance to lactose. So in the end she ended up on nutrimigen formular. Plus changed to dr Browns bottles. Doctor said one feed should show if the problem was gone and too be honest one feed and straight away happy baby girl. Hope u get it sorted
