DS (22 months)is exhibiting signs of being very defiant and I forsee trouble...

He will say "no" constantly when asked to do or not to do something (one of his few words), and when he is told off he just laughs. I am worrie dhe willbecome extremely badly behaved, and I want to nip it in the bud, but am unsure what tactics to use at this age. Any advice welcome.

my ds the same,his favourite word is no also. think its just a phase that he'llgrow out of. horrible age between 2 and 3.my ds has huge tantrums when i cant understand his jibberish

Dd was an absolute nightmare at that age - in retrospect (she's now 3.10) I think a lot of it was frustration at not being able to comunicate.
Once her vocab got better, so did the behaviour (a bit!)
