Stupid me to think I had it sussed, BAM dd(4) decides to be a baby

I'm currently say in M&S whilst dd(4) is having her tea in floods of tears.

She recently turned 4 and up until a couple of weeks ago she was so well behaved and hadn't had a tantrum in months.

Well I've truly been lulled into a false sense of security.

She has becoming SOOO whiney, argumentative, refuses to listen, stopped saying please and thank you (they used to be on auto pilot). And she has started screaming and refusing to calm down.

As a toddler she was really highly strung and we had a few issues but with consistency and help we over came them and for a little over a year everything has been great (she used to pull her hair out when in a rage).

And the reason I'm crying is because she has never, and I really mean never ever been a hands on child. But she has just purposely poked me full on the eye and tried to wrestle my phone from my hands.

We've had issues over the weekend too, fairly similar.

Please MNers tell me this is a phase and with consistent consequences etc she'll snap out of it.

TIA
