She is 2.5 and picks her nose and eats it! Sometimes she sits there chewing it

How do I get her to stop???

I move her hand before it gets to her mouth and she either throws a fit or giggles and thinks it's. A game.

Please give me some tips.

NB: she absolutely does not get this from me. Shock

I do think it improves immune system.
Maybe its passive like breastmilk

I'll update you all when she's ten to see if she's stopped! Even if she just saved it for when we are not in public... Wink

I used to pick my nose and wipe it on the wall beside my bed. Years' worth of crusty wall there was.

Did you paint over it or get the chisel out?

Much better that she eats it than you find it smeared over the walls/car door/radiator by the toilet/carpet. It's one or the other for at least the next 10 years. And it is good for them.

Anyone who thinks their Dc doesn't have such a filthy habit either hasn't yet found their favourite smearing place or has a sneaky child who eats it discreetly Grin

I used to pick it off again sometimes. The wallpaper would come with it. It got repapered eventually and I seem to have outgrown the habit by then.

Maybe I'd progressed to eating it. So much tidier.
