2 yo writing

Nursery pointed out that 2yo dc isn't writing yet and I should be spending more time with practising.

I had no clue 2 yos were supposed to be writing...is dc behind??

At 2 they are babies . I have never heard such rubbish I would move nurseries pronto.

They're being ridiculous.

DS1 taught himself to write before he started nursery, but he was the exception, not the rule. It took most of his reception year to break all the bad habits he'd picked up.
