I'm particularly interested in boys development (I heard there was a difference in male/female development) as I'm wondering when my son might start.

DS walked at 16 months, and has just started stringing two words together at age two.

DS cruised and had his first word around the same time at 8 months. He walked just before his first birthday, had 50 words at 13 mo and was using sentences at 18mo.

At 2.4 he still seems to be ahead of his peers verbally but I can't see any difference in their walking/running skills.

DS is 13 months and can just take a few steps (Squee!!)
He can say a couple of "words" which I understand but wouldn't make sense to anyone else.
