Daa-Deee is almost like a football chant in our house! Ds is 15 months and has been saying daddy for ages and even gives his big sisters name a go, but not mummy. I know it's the same with nearly all babies when learning to talk, BUT WHY?

hmm

my own mother used to make a huge thing out of all babies say Mummy as their first word, and there was something strange about me because my first word wasnt Mummy - obvious inference being that I didnt love her...now I realise that it is part of her own indifference towards me. Will never know what I did to deserve it.
