I have recently separated from my husband. We have an 8 1/2 yr old boy and are now trying to co-parent. My son and I have always had clashes as I expect him to behave a certain way and he sometimes finds it hard and would rather be with his dad as he is more relaxed. Since we split 6 weeks ago my son has been swearing at me. I have tried talking to him about it. Have taken privileges away from him and tried sending him to his room. I know he is very angry with me right now as I am the parent that left the family home. I am now back living with my parents as I cannot afford to live on my own. I am feeling very alone and that my son will just want to be with his father and not with me, and that hurts. does anyone have any help or advice thanks
