If someone asks you what is the overall personality, temperament or characteristics of a female human being aged between 5-6 years old and labeled as feitsy, how would you describe this girl?

I would label it as 'Her'

I'm guessing someone has called your child 'feisty' and you're wondering what the connotations of this are?

To me a feisty child is a child who knows her own mind and is able to stand up for herself and her beliefs. Nothing bad, however, when it's used by other people to describe my child (she also gets labelled as 'spirited' or 'energetic') then I know what they mean is that she is a little sod at times, but she's also feisty in the way I use it too, so I'll leave her to it for now.

I'd say feisty was generally used as a positive terms.

Feisty = assertive, confident

Spirited = aggressive, out of control/has no boundaries

If someone is 'feisty', they literally have the character of a feist ie a small, bad tempered dog, like a jack russel terrier
