Milk after brushing teeth - how bad is it?

My DD is 19 mths old and drinks a bottle of cows' milk to go to sleep at night. We brush her teeth thoroughly before her bottle but not afterwards. I know this is not recommended but just wondering how bad it is for her teeth? I am scared to change things becuase I know it'll be so hard to get her to sleep any other way...

Thanks Lotta.
Does anyone have any advice about chewable toothbrushes? I've seen one called a Brushbaby and it is shaped to fit around the mouth and reach all the teeth. I was thinking that I could clean her teeth with a normal brush, give her milk and then water to wash it away and then see if she enjoys chewing on the chewable brush. Or am I clutching at straws?!?
