18-month-old Tansy Aspinall played with the gorillas in their pen

In the Mail on Sunday today there is an article discussing Damian Aspinall's decision to let his 18 month old daughter play with gorillas at Howlett Zoo. There is also a short You tube film clip of the gorilla and the baby interacting and playing. I would never let a child play with a gorilla because of the dangers, but this particular baby does looks very happy with its little self.

Im sure he was knowledgeable to assess the risk and knew the gorillas in question. I would never let my child play with a strange dog, but there are large, potentially lethal dogs I know whom I have no qualms about whatsoever.
