My 20 month old son has recently gone from eating really well to eating a few mouthfuls and then holidng food in his mouth...not chewing, not swallowing..He's very stubborn and so taking his food away and no pudding doesn't work. Tonight he sat with one mouthful of food for 30 minutes, not chewing or swalling...any advice?

Take food away, no fuss. Nothing till next meal, no snacks in between Shock Harsh but it'll work. He won't let himself starve and this will prevent you becoming stressed over trying to make him eat. Dc2 was very stubborn (has been for 13 years!), the only thing that works for me was/is no nonsense approach.
Good luck Wink

DD does that with drinks. But then she just opens her mouth and lets it all spill out. Hmm
