20-month-old no longer has bottles but wakes early - is this why?

My 20-month-old has recently started having her morning and evening milk in a beaker. When she had her evening milk from a bottle she would gulp down about 7oz and wake up at 7.30am(ish) every day. Now she takes barely 3oz from a beaker in the evenings and has been waking anywhere between 5.50am and 6.20am since. She doesn't seem really hungry when she wakes (she'll enjoy 20 minutes or so of reading/playing/chatting before we give her milk). I don't know whether she's waking earlier because she's having less night-time milk, or whether it's just a coincidence (as soon as we ditched the bottles, the early wake ups began). Anyone had anything similar?
