My darling little son who i love very much is starting to drive me a little bit insane..he is 10 months old and isnt really doing very much he wont roll pull himself up or crawl...so we start the day off ok for the first hour then it slowly goes downhill from there and he will just whine the whole day long no matter what i do i constantly try to entertain him this i dont mind but its the loud whining that gets to me i think he is frustrated anyone got any ideas or had the same problem...by the time hubby comes home my head feels as if its bursting off my shoulders and am very close to tears!

Oh god, I feel your pain. My 8 month old ds is EXACTLY the same Hmm

The only thing he wants to do is cruise, all day. No proper crawling and will only roll when having his nappy changed or in his cot. He has 4 teeth and more coming through so giving him Ashton and parsons helps a bit but not as much as the blissful 45 mins I get when countdown is on, the strange little child loves it.

Lisening to constant whining is mentally draining and stressful. You have my sympathy.

You need to get out as much as possible, lots of walks in buggy (if he likes that), toddler groups (but don't worry if you hate them- it's quite normal).

I remember some days giving my boys 3 baths as that was the only time the whining stopped. You need to do whatever makes life easier.

I find children love playing with a bowl of water and some cups keeps them happy for a while.

I found soft play quite tolerable for a while too.

Mobly thankyou for your advice he loves a bath so might just try that if the day is going really bad like you say you would do anything to make it stop ...toddler group tomorrow for the very first time so hopefully that will entertain the little prince for a while..looks like am going to consatantly be out and about it might be the only way forward!! And need to creep yes this time will pass I suppose we should remember they just go through stages....
