fear of water - non rabies related

the boy has recently developed a fear of his bath after sticking his finger down the plug hole 2 nights ago and not liking the noise/feeling of the water going out. he used to absolutely love playing in the bath but now screams when we try to to put him in. has this happened to anyone else and how did you re-introduce them?

How old is he? Is he small enough not to need a bath more than once a week? Would he fit in your kitchen sink instead?

my two year old went through a phase like this I got in with her then gradually put her in first before getting in to get her used to being on her own again, me being in with her seemed to calm her down alot.

cheers. sorry should have said hes 15mth. we added some bubbles last night to hide the terrifying plug. he wouldnt sit down but at least he wasnt upset. progress anyway. ta.
