Does my DD need shoes yet?

DD (14 months) has been walking unaided for 2 weeks. She is improving massively every day, barely even crawls now. I would be happy to keep her shoe-less for as long as possible, but now the weather has descended into winter practically overnight I want to be able to keep her feet warm & dry when we're outside, with the possibility of her walking if she wants.
Is it too soon?

I stand corrected, the vivo founder worked at clarks. My mistake. Still, that wasn't the point: they seem to be great shoes for kids, much better than clarks in my humble opinion. Bit narrow on the colour options, but I guess that's secondary

I've just given in and bought cruisers for my 15-month-old who is just at the stage of taking a few steps. I had read on here how you shouldn't get them, they are just a marketing ploy etc etc. However my DS has been cruising outside for ages and is very adept at climbing on climbing frames etc, and doing this when it's wet in just socks or soft leather pram shoes is not ideal. His feet keep getting wet and cold. SO I've bought him a pair of Startrite pre-walkers with flexible leather soles which should do him nicely for a few months until he's properly walking (and has grown out of these!). I feel a bit guilty, stupidly! If it was summer I would have no hesitation in continuing to let him play outside in socks/barefoot, but not at this time of year.
