DD is 10 and a half months and is making no effort to crawl. she'll sit and stretch out for things but won't attempt to crawl towards them. she's always hated being on her tummy so tummy time was limited as she would just cry. people in rl keep trying to reassure me by saying that she'll maybe be one of those babies who skips the crawling part and just walks - but she won't even bear her weight no her feet when held.

she is a big, healthy baby and seems to be developing well in other ways - babbling, saying mama and dada, although not in context.

am i worrying unnecessarily about the crawling thing? what age were your dc's when they started to crawl?

DS didn't crawl until he was 11.5 months. But then he was walking a month later!

A friend's son who was a week older than DS was crawling at six months, but didn't walk until he was about 14/15 months old. Now they're both cheerful, active toddlers.
